Whether you need individual or group tutoring, I’m here to help. As part of your tutoring game plan, you will receive a custom-tailored blueprint specific to your goals, learning style, and preferred motivation approach.

Each week, you’ll be given customized assignments and drills based on your progress plus regular communication via text, email, and video to keep you on track.

My tutoring fee is $180 per hour, and I recommend at least 2 hours a week – either in single blocks or split into 2 blocks of 1 hour each.

I also recommend a 6-month window to train prior to your LSAT for the best results possible (although I work with plenty of students with shorter time windows and we still accomplish a lot in shorter time frames).

  Alissa is an amazing LSAT tutor. Prior to meeting Alissa, I was struggling badly with Logical Reasoning. I had tried PowerScore, Kaplan, and LSAT Trainer and none of those helped me comprehend Logical Reasoning the way she did.

Alissa is extremely intelligent and has a way of explaining complex Logical Reasoning problems in ways you can understand. If you don't comprehend a problem with one explanation, she'll give you a different explanation until it makes perfect sense to you. She truly has a lot of mental dexterity. Moreover, she really seems to care about her students and really becomes invested in your success. For instance, between tutoring sessions, she always answered any questions I had whenever I sent her an e-mail asking for a clarification on a difficult question.

Additionally, she laid out an achievable game plan that included homework assignments, drills, and video recordings of my tutoring lessons that helped keep me sharp and were super helpful.

  What separates Alissa from other LSAT tutors (and I have had a few) is that she is a certified professional classroom teacher. Coming from that background gives her an assessment tool that other tutors do not have, which is the ability to determine which kind of learner is in front of her and the skills to tailor her instruction style to match the student's learning style. Common Questions!

Is LSAT coaching online or in person?

I offer both in-person and online tutoring sessions. If you’re local, I recommend in-person sessions. My office is located at 1201 Wilson Blvd #27, Arlington, VA 22209

What if I can’t make it to my scheduled LSAT coaching session?

No problem! Please give me at least a 4 hour heads up to avoid a 20% cancellation fee. If you are more than 15 minutes late to a session without prior notice, you might be asked to reschedule.

Do you work with accommodations or neurodivergent students?

Yes, I’m well-versed in helping anyone needing specialized support. These are all things we can discuss when you book a consultation with me.
